How to Start a Political Party
The mechanics are public, unglamorous and entirely achievable. Most people have simply never been told them.
The Black American Party advances the producer class of the Black American community — through ownership, enterprise, constitutional principle, and economic solidarity. What is good for Black Americans is good for all Americans.
The change this platform proposes does not require a march. It requires several million people doing ordinary things differently.

The transformation this party is after does not arrive through confrontation. It arrives through millions of individually unremarkable decisions: where the grocery money goes, whether the will gets written, whether the child learns to code, whether the business takes on a second employee, whether the father stays.
None of those makes a headline. Together they are the only thing that has ever durably changed a people's position.
Loud movements are easy to oppose because they announce their target. A community that quietly accumulates ownership, competence and capital presents nothing to oppose until the position is already held.
Greenwood is the cautionary note here: build quietly and build political protection at the same time. Quiet does not mean unorganised, and it certainly does not mean undefended.
Route your ordinary spending deliberately. Write the will. Teach the child. Hire from the community. Buy the building if you can. Join the network so the coordination is possible. Vote as a bloc that can be withheld.
That is the whole revolution. It is unglamorous, it is available immediately, and it does not require anyone's permission - which is precisely why it works.
Change achieved through millions of ordinary decisions - spending routed deliberately, wills written, children taught, businesses grown, families held together - rather than through confrontation.
Because loud movements announce their target and are easy to oppose, while accumulated ownership presents nothing to oppose until the position is already held.
The mechanics are public, unglamorous and entirely achievable. Most people have simply never been told them.
A PAC is how a constituency speaks in the language the political system actually listens to.
We keep producing extraordinary leaders and no machinery. Then we lose the leader and start over.
The two-axis map of American politics was not drawn with Black American interests in mind.
Black American political attention is confined to a narrow band of subjects, and the confinement is not accidental.
Not conservative. Not progressive. American - and specific about what that means.
