Black Americans are routinely compared to immigrant groups that arrived poor and succeeded, and asked why we have not done the same. The comparison omits the relevant facts: immigrants arrive with intact families, intact cultures, intact naming traditions and a homeland to return to or draw from. They chose to come.
Foundational Black Americans have none of that. The lineage was severed deliberately, over centuries, as policy. That is a different starting condition, and no amount of effort retroactively supplies a culture that was destroyed.
Recognising the difference is not the same as accepting permanent disadvantage. A starting position explains where you begin; it does not determine where you end, and treating it as though it did is the victimhood paradigm this platform rejects throughout.
The honest position holds both: the disadvantage was real and engineered, and we are nonetheless responsible for what we build from here. Anyone who offers you only one of those halves is selling something.
Since we cannot import a culture or a homeland, we have to build them deliberately: institutions, standards, symbols, networks and a written platform. What other peoples inherited, we construct.
That is harder. It is also entirely possible, and it is what this party is for.

Every technological wave so far has been something done to this community. The next one does not have to be.
