Adoption: Our Children, Our Households
A community serious about its children cannot leave them in other people's systems.
The Black American Party advances the producer class of the Black American community — through ownership, enterprise, constitutional principle, and economic solidarity. What is good for Black Americans is good for all Americans.
Every country runs on a set of unexamined assumptions. Seeing several breaks the spell of your own.

The American Zeitgeist is a set of commonly held beliefs, slogans and assumptions that define American ethnocentricity. It is not unique in having one - every country has its own, shaped by whoever holds influence there, and each feels to its inhabitants like simple reality rather than a construction.
That is the useful discovery of travel: not that other places are better, but that their assumptions are equally invisible to the people holding them, and equally arbitrary.
A person inside one zeitgeist cannot easily see it. A person who has lived inside several can see the seams in all of them, including their own - which is why this platform keeps returning to international experience as a political education rather than a leisure activity.
It is also why the American Zeitgeist's specific claims about Black Americans become so obviously constructed once you have watched a different society construct different claims about different people.
There is a live effort to stretch a shared set of assumptions across all countries at once, promoted through the same small number of channels everywhere. Whatever one thinks of any particular claim, a world with one zeitgeist has no vantage point left - no outside from which to notice that the assumptions are assumptions.
For a people who need to see clearly in order to organise, that loss of vantage is a serious matter. Independent judgement is a political asset and it is getting scarcer.
The observation that every country runs on its own set of unexamined assumptions, invisible to the people inside it - and that seeing several societies is what makes your own visible.
Because a person inside one zeitgeist cannot easily see it, and the American Zeitgeist's specific claims about Black Americans become obviously constructed once you have seen another society construct different ones.
A community serious about its children cannot leave them in other people's systems.
A party that cannot say precisely who it represents will end up representing whoever funds it.
A vote that is guaranteed is a vote that is worthless.
The mechanics are public, unglamorous and entirely achievable. Most people have simply never been told them.
A PAC is how a constituency speaks in the language the political system actually listens to.
