What is right about it

The kinship is real. Peoples of African descent across the world have suffered related histories, and the cultural and spiritual connection matters. Trade and business relationships across the diaspora are a genuine and largely unexploited opportunity - the internet makes them available now, without anyone's intermediation.

None of that is in question.

Where it misdirects

Movements that ask Black Americans to make the international Black struggle the primary focus misallocate a finite political capacity. Our leverage is exercised inside the United States, through American citizenship, American courts, American markets and American votes. That is where our instrument is.

And we cannot dilute our energies into a paradigm of universal victimhood under colonialism. That framing places every Black population permanently in the position of the acted-upon, which is precisely the mindset this platform exists to break.

The order of operations

Consolidate Black American political and economic power first, then act internationally from strength. A prosperous, organised Black American bloc can do far more for Africa and the wider diaspora than a poor and disorganised one expressing solidarity.

Sound money would sharpen this considerably: a return to commodity-backed currency would raise the strategic weight of mineral-rich Africa, and with it the position of Black Americans in US foreign relations. Kinship plus leverage is worth more than kinship alone.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Black American Party's position on Pan-Africanism?

That the kinship is real and diaspora trade is a genuine opportunity, but Black American leverage is exercised through American citizenship, courts, markets and votes - so domestic consolidation comes first.

Does the party reject solidarity with Africa and the diaspora?

No. It rejects a framing of universal victimhood, and argues that a prosperous, organised Black American bloc can do far more for the diaspora than a disorganised one.
