Polygamy: Plural Marriage Among Consenting Adults
The party supports the legal and ethical practice of plural marriage for consenting adults who choose such an arrangement.
The Black American Party advances the producer class of the Black American community — through ownership, enterprise, constitutional principle, and economic solidarity. What is good for Black Americans is good for all Americans.
As constitutionalists, the party supports the Second Amendment and urges Black Americans toward firearm education, licensing and safety.

As constitutionalists, the Black American Party supports the Second Amendment, and encourages all Black Americans to practice firearm safety and education.
Both halves are the position. The right is affirmed, and the competence is expected. This party has no interest in the version of gun advocacy that celebrates the weapon and says nothing about the training.
Because the history of gun control in the United States begins with us. The slave codes disarmed Black people first. The Black Codes disarmed the newly freed. Through the terror decades, the reliable precondition for a lynching or the destruction of a Black township was a Black population that could not answer, and the pattern was consistent enough that it cannot be read as coincidence.
The armed self-defense tradition inside the civil rights movement is documented and was never marginal. Organizers in the rural South slept in houses that were guarded, and they were guarded by neighbors who owned rifles. The nonviolent campaign in public was protected by armed communities at night. That is our history, not a borrowed one.
A community that has been left undefended this many times has earned the right to be skeptical when it is told that disarmament is for its own protection.
Firearms in Black American households take Black American lives - in domestic incidents, in the hands of children who found what an adult left reachable, in suicides that a locked cabinet would have interrupted, and in disputes that a trained person would have de-escalated because training is mostly about what not to do.
So the party's encouragement is specific. Get trained by an instructor, not by a cousin. Secure the weapon, every time, whether or not there are children in the home today. Know your state's law on carry, on transport and on what justifies the use of force, because the legal exposure for a Black American who fires a weapon is not the same as it is for everyone else and pretending otherwise is not solidarity.
Ownership without competence is not a right exercised. It is a hazard stored in a closet.
There is no contradiction between supporting lawful ownership and treating violence in our neighborhoods as a crisis. The crisis is not caused by the trained, licensed Black American who keeps a secured weapon in her home. It is caused by economic vacuums, by unresolved disputes among young men with nothing to lose, and by the absence of everything this platform proposes to build.
Disarming the household does not reach any of that. Building the alternative does.
The party has not adopted positions here on specific federal or state measures - background check design, red flag statutes, permitting regimes or restrictions by weapon class. It affirms the right and the duty of competence, and treats the instrument-by-instrument questions as separate.
The party is constitutionalist and supports the Second Amendment, while encouraging all Black Americans to pursue firearm education and to practice firearm safety.
Because gun control in America began with the slave codes and Black Codes, and the reliable precondition for terror against Black communities was a Black population that could not answer.
No. It affirms lawful ownership with training, secure storage and knowledge of state law, and states that ownership without competence is a hazard rather than a right exercised.
Neighborhood violence is driven by economic vacuums and unresolved disputes, not by trained licensed owners. Disarming the household does not reach the cause; building the alternative does.
No. It has not adopted positions on background check design, red flag statutes, permitting regimes or weapon-class restrictions.
The party supports the legal and ethical practice of plural marriage for consenting adults who choose such an arrangement.
The party supports strong, traditional, nuclear families - and treats the household as the first institution everything else is built on.
The party supports legislation mandating DNA paternity testing at every birth, before any father is named on a birth certificate.
There is a deliberate campaign to divide the sexes. The party rejects it, and states what it asks of Black American men.
The same campaign, the other half. What this party asks of Black American women, stated with the same directness and no more.
The party is committed to addressing the specific needs of Black American men on a focused basis rather than inside a general agenda.
