Working here

What a role at the Black American Party actually is

We are a party of producers, and we staff like one. Every role below exists because a member needed something built, organized or answered.

Organizing

Chapter and field organizing

Turning the Twelve Articles into local action - chapters, meetings and coordinated economic effort in the cities where members already live and work.

Member services

Member support

Looking after the private members network: access, questions, billing and the day-to-day of a community that pays to be here.

Technology

Platform and the Black Dollar app

Building and maintaining the party's tools - the members network, the empowerment course platform and the Black Dollar business directory.

Communications

Writing and media

Explaining the platform plainly and answering the mischaracterization of the Black American community that Article IX commits us to confronting.

Curriculum

Research and curriculum

Sourcing and citing the Economic & Political Empowerment course - 200+ lessons that have to hold up to scrutiny.

Partnerships

Business partnerships

Bringing Black American businesses into the directory and the certification standard that gives its green status meaning.

How we hire

Producers first

The Black American Party recruits for evidence of production rather than credentials alone. If you have built a business, organized a community, shipped software, taught a class or run a trade, that record speaks louder here than a resume line.

Membership is not a hiring requirement, but most of the people who end up working here found the party as members first. If you are considering a role, joining the members network is the fastest way to see how the movement actually operates before you apply.
